"Where life and art meet"
In attempting to choose a name that would define the entire Association, we chose to look closely at our philosophy of living and learning and bridging the two together the Association founded the name Sapere Insieme. Sapere Insieme is a profound statement on our philosophy and means "to know together." Only through the crossroads of knowledge, generations, cultures can we create new knowledge and immense growth experiences.
The Association supports the integration of knowledge in key methods; artistic, educational, and sports and carries out its projects, not for the abstract individual but in constant relation to the fundamental individual needs and desires of its recipients. "Sapere Insieme" means working with families and children whom are capable of ignoring the stereotypical models and standards of daily living, and instead opt to study diverse solutions and cultural alternatives which are aimed at a lifelong education.
"Sapere Insieme" believes that as children and adults, learning must go beyond the classical knowledge and structured educational norms which are laid down by the educational system and mass culture. As a result it is constantly seeking creative proposals with social implications for sustainable development.
